The Running Out of Time Climate Relay finishes its 2,436km journey through the UK on Thursday 4th July at precisely 20:30 in front of Big Ben (symbolic of net zero by 2030).
We will be calling upon the new government – whoever they may be – to act now to reduce emissions and restore nature.
We need YOUR support to help make this moment as big as possible!
Whether you join the finale in-person, or support locally, be part of Run To 2030!
See FAQs below.
Thursday 4th July
Live in London? Join us in-person for the finale! 🌱 ✋
The final Relay stage sets off from Potters Fields Park at 7pm on Thursday 4th July. We'll have two groups (runners and walkers) and the route is 4km long. We aim to arrive at Big Ben for 8.00pm (20:00).
Get ready for an incredible group photo at precisely 20:30 in front of Big Ben to draw attention to the 2030 Net Zero targets and how we are running out of time to achieve them. We need YOUR support to help make this moment as big as possible!
P.S. If you'd like to join the finale at Parliament Square and not run or walk, then join Stage 210 here.

Take part local to you!
Join the finale with your fellow club / community members for a run and big group photo in front of any local clock for precisely 8.30pm (we'll be doing the same in front of Big Ben).
It might be the church clock, the station clock or perhaps your local track has a fancy timing clock? It doesn’t matter where you are, have some fun planning a route with your team mates, gather together and do what you all do best, run, talk and take a group selfie! #RunTo2030
Help us make this moment as BIG as possible by coming together for a run and selfie wherever you are.
How to get involved: RUN, SNAP & SHARE
RUN: wherever you are, whoever you are with, run to a clock for 20.30 (8.30pm) on Thursday 4th July.
SNAP: take a pic in front of the clock
SHARE: using #runto2030 #peopleclimatenature #greenerrunning #climaterelay #runningoutoftime
It might be a church clock, the station clock, anywhere local, just plan a run to suit you and gather your club, friends, family or enjoy it on your own.
What better way to send a clear message to the new government this election day - you could even time it to make your vote on your way back home - now that’s a win win for speaking out!
For your club think of it as the usual Thursday club run with an extra purpose, perhaps the run chat could be about the climate actions you could take as a club or group?
If you can’t make it out you can still show your support with a selfie and a clock or even your watch showing 20.30 and share with #runto2030 #peopleclimatenature #greenerrunning #climaterelay
Help us to draw attention to the 2030 Net Zero targets and how we are Running Out of Time to achieve them.

Yes! Everyone is welcome, lots of people will be taking part on their own.
This is a peaceful action to keep the pressure on our new government to prioritise positive climate action. This will be the culmination of a 29-day relay that has travelled across the country raising awareness of the great work already being done by charities, councils, businesses, schools, individuals and communities.
At 20:30 we have an opportunity to bring national media attention to this issue and remind our government that more must be done.
The Great Big Green Week, The Climate Coalition, Carbon Copy, Green Runners, Vegan Runners and many others have pledged their support.
This is not Running Out of Time's action – it’s everyone’s. Everyone is invited, because everyone is needed.

We look forward to hearing from you!
The first thing to know is that this is a peaceful, family friendly gathering. Plans do not include roadblocks, or locking on or gluing on to anything. Nor do we plan to throw paint at buildings, or anything of that nature. This gathering intentionally focusses on attendance.
We’re working to create a welcoming space for all.
Sign up and put it in your diary, and invite your friends or family!
