Ford - Electric Vehicle Provider
With ‘Running Out Of Time’ supporters running and cycling over 1,500 miles, their need for back-up vehicles is clear. Ford has loaned its Mustang Mach-E electric car and E-Transit van to support the Running Out of Time Relay.
Ford identify with the cause of celebrating climate change work and inspiring action as necessary steps on the ‘Road to Better’. ‘Road to Better’ is Ford’s global sustainability strategy, aiming for their European operations to be carbon neutral by 2035. Most emissions are from their vehicles, with Mustang Mach-E and E-Transit leading the roll out of nine Ford EVs by mid-decade. Their locations, logistics and direct suppliers are also part of the ‘Road to Better’ action plan. Some UK locations look forward to welcoming the relay as it passes nearby.
